TECHNOLOGY

BattleJacket® Technology is designed to aggressively bond to the outside of a tank, offering intimate secondary containment.  Each of the three layers in the patented structure performs an important function.

• Layer 1- Bonds intimately to the tanks surface and locks down the inward hole from the ballistic event.
• Layer 2- Suspends the reactive chemistry into a center sandwich layer to passively hold the unique chemical reactive particulates in place
• Layer 3- Protects the outward surface from UV, weather corrosion, fire and chemical spills.  The initial wound from the outside ballistic event has to be sealed quickly to minimize the loss of liquid and not allow oxygen into the tank.
